Pushback questions

I know this has been addressed before, but I was hoping for a clarification.

setup:

xAxx
xcxx
BEdx
xxxx
xxxf

Capital letters being my guys, lower case his (f happens to have the ball). A blocks c, pushbacked into E, I push E next to f, E blocks f. Glorious victory is assured.

Question #1: I know I can choose where c goes, but can I choose where E goes? I think this has been addressed before, and I think the answer is yes.

Question #2: Is E allowed to make a move after being pushed back. I couldn't find that discussed anywhere, but I think the answer is yes.

From the rulebook:

If all such squares are occupied by other players, then the player
is pushed into an occupied square, and the player that originally occupied the square is pushed back in turn.

Long and short of it, this was supposed to be discussed by the October rules review of the BBRC.

But to answer your question, the attacker controls where people get pushed unless they have sidestep. In my league you could definitely push E next to f and as long as E hasn't done anything that turn POW!! Let f have it.

Thanks for the response, Gall. I was pretty sure about who picked the pushback spots, it was the "can the pushed player still take an action?" that didn't seem to be addressed anywhere.

BTW, I felt like bleeping Vincent Lambardi after that move.

Yes they can, being moved by proxy does not count as being activated.

And we play it the same: the phasing/blocking player controls all pushes within the obvious restrictions of the rules....

It CAN have it's / applications, depending on which end of the stick you're on....

We play tht secondary Pushes are controlled by the coach that owns the player.

In your example you block c so he goes where you want him to, and since you own E he goes where you want him to also, but had you pushed c into d your opponent would choose where d went, because you didn't actually block him ... are we using a house rule or was this an official interpretation that the BBRC was going to look at or am I plain daft?

Or is it an official interpretation AND I'm plain daft!

Does this also count if all the squares are occupied with knocked down or proned players. ??

With current rules prone and stunned players can also be pushed back. HHhhhmmm here is a question, since being prone/stunned is no longer immovable, does stand firm affect this?
