Another newb, sort of

Hi. Name's Khambian. I am new to LRB and league play, but Blood Bowl 2nd Edition is what got me into the whole miniatures hobby back in the late 80s. I also enjoyed the mid-90s PC game (buggy as it was) so I have a vague idea on how to play.

Why am I here? It's Cyanide's fault. I heard about the upcoming video game, and it got me interested again. I found Impact's site and it went downhill from there. I recently stripped off the bad paint jobs from my old 2E Skaven and am also working on a converted team based on WFB Clanrats and Mordheim plastics. Still pissed that I can't find a few of my old figures, like Dorjak Sureclaw, Duke Luthor, and Galmen Goreblade.

Currently working on building a complete set of 2nd Ed. Skaven- just paid way too much for an auction of 18 of the little guys, so I might have some to trade soon.

I haven't painted in over a decade, and my practice runs are not going all that well. Perhaps I need to scrap my old paints, even though they seem OK to me...

Anyhow, I am probably more interested in the modeling/painting aspect than anything else right now- don't know if anyone even plays in my neck of the woods (search says last last time someone mentioned Nashville outside of hockey talk here was 2004 IIRC).

welcome back, same story here, played the game a lot on the 2nd edition, then it disapeared into the attic until early part of this year when i found all my figures and game, since then chopped and changed my figures around to get what i actually want the most.now started the painting process and learning of LRB to get myself upto date.
