Chaos teams all Beast - how does that work?

I wanted a beast theme as well, but a little different than SomeGuy's suggestion below, I used some extra beastman heads with the old hunchback chaos warrior bodies and a couple of arm swaps (a mutation here, an orc arm there to look beefy) and have some really unique looking warriors.

I tried the three-Warrior team, and I found it to be great. That Minotaur was worth its own weight in gold twice over.

I agree that the apothecary is not worth it for one-of games. The 3rd warrior will be way more useful than a chance at getting an injured guy back in the reserves. The Apothecary doesn't always work, and you don't have any permanent injuries to worry about. I wouldn't take an Apothecary on my starting roster even in a league.

The Minotaur did great for you, perfect. But wait until he goes Wild at the wrong moment.

I'm sure you get this to happen to you eventually. My Trolls on my Goblin team go stupid often enough, and often at the wrong time. But that's a Goblin team, which is quite different from a Chaos team.

In one off games, heck even in league play you dont want the minotaur. Sure he's scary, but he's AV8, costs 150k and as stated a few times earlier is a turnover machine.
One thing I would reccommend instead of taking an apothecary would be to have a 12th player on the roster. In one off games an extra player has a noticeable difference on a mainly AV8 team.

Consider the following roster for a one off game:
11x Beastman - 660K
1x CW - 100K
4x Reroll - 240K
FF - 0

As i said earlier the extra player greatly helps this team, and 4 Rerolls is essential if you actually want to win every now and then. Remembering of course that you have a team that (barring horns) has absolutely no skills whatsoever.

Its not like I don't want to heed your advice, I am just dead set on the Minotaur, as I absolutely love the model and I find its rules to be outstanding (barring Wild Animal, but that doesn't matter to me, I'll just reserve my one Blitz action for the Minotaur).

I now agree that Warriors are rather necessary...
