Personal feeling on the nurgle team is that its more about re-creating the nurgles rotters from BB fluff than it is creating a match to WHFB fluff.

It gets caught in the crossfire a bit as many teams ARE trying to shoehorn WHFB stuff into BB while others are more uniquely BB. Which btw, is something that really annoys me, why cant wardancers just be blitzers ffs. Or at least have some kind of consistancy across all teams for naming conventions grrrr.

Should a mod just move this over to house rules ?

As it could and maybe should be discussed completely freely over there.

Otherwise we just have a dead horse here.

Okey-dokey.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

If one of the BBRC members commented they'd probably agree with that.

Although the Khemri roster clearly says I didn't keep shouting long enough.

If you dont like regeneration then how about a new skill that gives them -1 to injury rolls made against them?

Some day when you publish your memoirs, you have to let us know who was behind the current Khmeri roster in LRB 6 (proposed.) If break Tackle were just on the Tomb Guardians, it would seem like such a good move...

Make you a deal ... when LRB 6.0 is on the Games Workshop site which will effectively be the end of days for the BBRC ... I'll be happy to discuss anything that happened behind the curtain.

I've been either on the BBRC or an advisor to the BBRC since they started developing LRB 1.0. So I probably know it if it happened.

Keep in mind that if the new roster is a complete wash-out ... the BBRC does have the option to go back the MA 3/AV 8 Break Tackle roster since we have playtest data for a year. Jervis said no more new rules could be tested ... but previous testing is still game.

Well, I think the current roster is actually an improvement on the 3 5 1 8 Break Tackle roster... but I am possibly in the minority. For me, and some of my league mates, the 4 5 1 8 Break Tackle roster just seemed like such a no brainer, great move, we were shocked to have Break Tackle removed from the final version!

On top of that, the unforeseen change from AV 8 to AV 9 + Decay is awesome in my book! Kudos to the architect of that one. Longterm attrition the same, in game surviveability boosted. Yes please!

In my mind, we were so close to having 4 5 1 9 Break Tackle, Regenerate, Decay players which would have re-defined the team, and I know that the BBRC must have considered that roster... the question that will always remain in my mind (until your published memoirs) is: What did people see in that roster which made them balk and take away Break Tackle?

Or do I have the whole thing wrong?

Anyway, the biggest secret you will divulge is that the active BBRC members are actually just puppets for a secret, hidden BBRC group headed up by members who have not been named up until now (I feel confident in revealing that they are Snew, Dark Lord, Zombie, and Toby, led by JJ's secret alter ego, LL Cool J.)

Soon to be a book out about this from Dan Brown entitled "The M'Gorg'N'Thorg Code."

Apart from the fact Dark Lord is still using his Pariah alter-ego, I think you're correct.
Expect a visit from the BBRC Secret Police anyday now.

I From my "sources" (the Rat of House Rulez fame) I've been told that Tom actually has nothing to do with the rules - he's just a face put up my the ones you mentioned. The price for his co-operation? If he didn't, his beloved halflings would be made Tier 1! :o
