Thats not correct. Moving 10 or 11 squares with the new catcher is inherrently riskier than the old catcher. If you take surefeet as a skill then having MA9 instead of sprint means one less GFI to fail.

You're right. I actually meant to compare the new catcher with Sure Feet to the old catcher without Sure Feet. I should've just been a lot clearer about it.
Taking Sure Feet means, of course, not taking any other skill, and I'd doubt whether Block or Wrestle wouldn't be better as a first skill. Maybe on one of the catchers Sure Feet as a first skill would make sense.

This means that if you go for the 4x 90k positional package (one positional, plus three more in lieu of a WD/RR and your starting FF point) you want two of each. That probably means you don't want to do it... but I'm not sure there. I'd still take Catcher #1 over Thrower #1 or over 2 FF.
This is a point in favor of High/Pro Elves. You don't have to think in terms of opportunity cost when you're considering buying a Catcher. "Would a lino do the job better?" just doesn't enter the picture. ST2 sux sometimes.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.
