Passing in lots of TZs

Post by tenwit »

Hasn't happened yet, but the thought came to me when my opposition attempted a long bomb yesterday..

So if passing from 8 TZs (heheh), there's absolutely no point in rolling the die? Or is it still a 1/6 chance of success?

A straight 6 on the dice always succeeds.

But you had better be prepared for the ball to drop at your feet if you don't get it!

Correct.

The rule of 1 and 6 wins as the top rule for these situations.

Cool.

If more wording clarifications are being considered, this might a one to think about. After all, passing in 6TZs (or less, depending on the range) will always be 1 after modification, and there is no indication on pg22 that the pg12 rule is more important. Both rules say "always"...

Actually page 22 doesn't say always. That was on purpose.

Right you are. That definitely makes it unambiguous.
