Couldn't get the Spicy Hut as we are too big a number, so I have reserved a function room at the Islamabad Grillfor 50 people to allow people who don't get on TBB to let me know if they want to come along.

Going in next week to pick set menu etc.

Table is booked for 50 people at the Islamabad Grill who were the only people able to take such a big number.

Have been in to pay the deposit and asked about a set menu, but given that the owner said the set menu would, essentially, consist of a reduced number dishes from the buffet, but at an extra £3-4 a head, I decided to go for the buffet option as it is £9 a head (all you can eat) and there is a greater choice of dishes.

Table is booked for 7.30.

Oh, the restaurant does not serve alcohol (boo!), but we can take our own (yay!) and there are a couple of off licences and a McColls on the way down to the restaurant (also means that doing the bill is going to be pretty straightforward).

If you want to come and have not expressed an interest - let me know asap as there are only a few places left!

Didn't make the curry in the end but I had an awesome Kebab from Kebabish.

This year's curry was sooo much better than last year.
