Goblin team troll's 3rd skill

Post by swntzu »

I have a troll in my gobbo team who was just gained his third normal skill. He already has guard and break tackle.

The league is very short with most likely only 3 games left for me. The games will be against a human team (lots of tackle) and a wood elf team.

I am leaning towards strong arm as I have two AG4 gobbos (one with catch).

Stand Firm. Help keep your Goblins safe, get max mileage out of Guard, make it harder to block him off, and minimize the odds you'll have to burn an action to avoid a 4+ RS roll.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

Grab...

You use Grab (and Multi Block - ?On both Trolls?) to move opponents into the centre of the LoS...

Then you use your Fanatic (with Grab) to plow through the crowd...

Then you use your Bomber to lob a bomb on the downed players (they can't catch)

Presto! Instant Mayhem

Stand firm and grab are both solid choices. I'd actually rate them more highly than break tackle which you tend to use less than once per game (well...at least I do :P).

Grab would probably get the nod from me if the other troll has multiblock. If not, SF wins out in my mind.
