IMO a mix of break tackle and block/wrestle is much better for first skills. The reason for that is that teams can just man-mark Saurus and attack the skinks - which will generally lose you the game. A couple of BT Saurus mean that you should be able to free one up relatively easily for the important blitz.

I'm a fan of a frenzy saurus (as a compensation for no tackle and to make holes) although I'd be aiming to give him BT next to better exploit sideline opportunties.

Sorry misread your question...

I think my suggestions should be clear from my post though

I agree with Matt's and Ian's suggestions. Tripleskull's don't line up as closely with my way of playing. Probably just a playstyle thing. I use BT maybe once per game, but my opponents ask me which saurus has BT about 16 times per games (unless they have a good memory :) ). This is why I want BT as the very first skill: it makes my opponent move players to where they have to be, rather than where he wants them to be.

First two players to skill usually get BT/Wrestle/Tackle and Wrestle/Frenzy/Stand Firm, or some skills along those lines: the sorts of skills that make the oppoent extra-aware of those two sauruses. After that, the normal "obvious" skills get preference: Block, Guard, Stand Firm, with a smattering of Kick, Frenzy, Tackle and Mighty Blow.

Good point about break tackle as a passive skill, that might mean more than I have though about.

My experiens is that if people tend to get hurt if they try to mark my men. I have played 4-5 lizardman teams in 10-15 league matches each with about 90% wins, but I never played a lizardman team for longer than that. Have also played lizards in tounaments but thats another story. Sorry for pulling my own leg, think thats the expression - just feeling outnumbered :D

Yeah, you can pull your own damn leg, but if you want your horn blown, you need to find someone else to do it. Unless you're an acrobat.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

I have found my general play style is score quickly. Don't screw around with extra SPPS or unnessesary blocks. Then try to score again as quickly as possible.

This strategy seems to fall flat with dwarfs, but works with most other races.

Because they hurt the skinks, because the sauries is flat on the back or maby something else?

I would also score fast to make the dwarfs worry about the ball. Dont wonna be protecting both the ball and four skinks.

The biggest problem is all that tackle! I seem to always fail the dodge rolls away from dwarves. That I like to run near the sideline and those darn slayers push me out.

I would say block instead of dodging and use chainpush blitzing to free locked up skinks. Does he get to put tackle players on several skinks each turn? Make him give away free blocks and dont give them away yourself. If you have guard it isnt that hard to get two dice on a dwarf even with a skink. And when the skink is blocking the dwarf the dwarf is more liable to get hurt than the skink. Take fokus of scoring again. Stop him from scoring and protect the skinks by being the one rolling two rerollable dice.

You obviusly need RRs to play like this, but I generally find that 4 RRs does the job, but I did take sure hands on the first double on a skink though.

Also, don't put anyone within 2 of the sideline unless you're sure they can't be marked, or they have Side Step. On a lizardman team, most of your skinks will have Side Step after two TDs.
