I've made a booking for our Saturday night meal as follows:

Cafe India, Whitby Street (<5 mins walk from the venue)

Booked for 8pm Saturday 4th April

£12.50 per head (excluding drinks) for:

- popadoms and pickles
- selection of shared starters (kebabs, bhaji, pakoras etc)
- choice of 8 main courses (chicken madras, chicken tikka massala, chicken korma, chicken bhuna, lamb balti, lamb rogan josh, veg jalfrezi, veg bhuna)
- shared rice and nan (mix of keema, garlic, peshwari, plain) for everyone

Excellent venue (barring Hoomin, and I hope they do after the other year's "incident"

).

My spies have been busy and have reported back that there are two new venues in Hartlepool which should be visited on a Monkey night out; both of which are a stone's throw (assuming you don't get caught!) from Cafe India. Firstly is the new indie club on Church Street called "The Edge" and for the less discerning gentleman there is "Little Black Book" over the road from Cafe India - Hartlepool's new (and first, and so far only) strip club

£5 entry tells you all you need to know about how classy this place is

Ok, myself and BIG Pete are in for curry.

Mike Blackledge will be coming along, as Pippy mentioned these guys also do 'non indian' food. I'm guessing he'll be paying seperatly?
