Casualities as tie breakers?

Got some ideas for rules? Maybe a skill change or something completely different!!! Tell us here.

this is a good point ;]

for KO tournaments at least

though you can take into account games in previous rounds after the first if there is a tie in further rounds

so that is how there can be a td difference

While I see what you're getting at I'd rather see a winner determined by events that occur in-game rather than what occurred before. Using something that tries to "guess" who would win IF there were an overtime would seem the logical way to go ....

At the start of OT (after rolling KOs), you can have each coach roll 2d6 and add the number of players available (up to 11). High roll wins. If both sides roll the same, the tie goes to the team with fewer players. If both sides have the same number of players, the tiebreaker is Comps, then SIs/deaths (esp. in a resurrection format), then coin-toss.

Hmm... I'm not going to endorse that. Personally, I wouldn't go this route. Just brainstorming.
