PKQ 2009 who taking what?

Post by Hangus »

The first round is seeded so we need to know who is taking what so the registration is swift and painless.

You can change your mind is don't worry about that and if you cannot mkae you mind up but who it is between three four races let us know, but the more prepared we are the quicker things are.

Plus people can start the banter :D

So who is taking what?

I'll be taking Dwarfs. My team Scotland dwarfs to be more precise.
Was contemplating Humans, but I need the practice with the short bearded ones. Hopefully I will play at least reasonably so I can make a case for using them in Italy come november.
In fact, I'll be using the exact same roster I used at the DO, and hoping to avoid running into another Amazon team with more Guard than me.

Edit: ranking 176.3. I fully expect that to plummet after Pearlies. :(

I'll need to double-check the rules, but if I can borrow a team, probably Khemri, so I can get a ranking before the shit LRB6 version comes in.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Dwarves or Amazons, probably leaning to zons.

Not that Hangus has been suggesting the ECBBL powergame or anything...

Not used either at a tourney so both 150.

Powergaming here, with my massively ranked Orcs of 138.65! :o

The full contingent of the 'Milton Keynes Massive' are about to make their mark on tournament history. You have all been warned!!!

(although I think Munson is taking his 133.36 ranked Halflings  )

My quest for "the 24" continues, so it'll probably be either High Elf or Necromantic or something else. Either way it'll be a 150 ranking.

Being the indecisive person that I am, have changed now to Necro's (141.15). This will be my last change, maybe! :D

Am being goaded by Gazza into possibly taking Chaos Dwarves with a ranking of 142.09, in the hope that we meet first game.

Luke how much would it be to make this happen?

Gazza you slag, you're having it.

I've decided to take Orcs and I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick to it (I think  ). My NAF ranking is 146.83.
I thought I'd put this post up now otherwise I'll probably keep changing my mind for the next 2 weeks!!

In the interest of Banter  :

Our Brother, who art at Pearlies,
Munson be thy name,
Thy Halflings come,
Sweating will be done,
From his brow as it shines like Heaven.
Gives us a three, Our re-rolled dodge.
And forgive us our failures,
As we forgive those that powergame against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
And deliver us from Lycos,
For Nuffle is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory,
For ever and ever

Amen

Now that Monkeybowl is over with for another year, I'm hoping the build up really gets going for this one.
