Hmm that would be a nice Idea.
MV1, Right Stuff\
Then for a better Landing give him AG4 (or even AG5) but to compensate Ball Handling the No Hands Skill.

Wich would end in something you have to throw into action or it could "hop" save 1 square around.

That funny element would make him nice i think. Cause atm I think he would be worth easy 200k of Inducements and still be balanced with your latest rules. (Flings a have mostly alot of Inducements and b) can use a tough 3rd guy for the line for sure)

and remember, inducements are supposed to be overpriced, when compared to permanent players/staff

100k seems very cheap, unless it's under LRB4?

I like the idea of making him a right stuff player, but high AG on a pot-plant just seems wrong. I think Jump Up would be a better skill to compensate for being thrown (ie he lands on his side but just rolls upright again). Agree about not wanting a high strength player being thrown with the ball, but having low AG (and therefore almost certainly landing on his side) makes it silly anyway.

I can't find that rule. I see a rule on p.25:
LRB5 wrote:However, no characteristic may be reduced by more than 2 points or below a value of 1. Any injuries that could reduce it further are ignored.
But that doesn't apply because this is a starting stat and not due to an injury, so MA0 is fine (I think). Nothing wrong woth MA1 though.

I like the high AG idea (3 is high enough though). Pot plant is anachronistic comedy, nothing wrong with having "silly" stats. Plus he's small so should be able to dodge (when GFInig ;) ), but is tough so shouldn't be Stunty.

Jump Up is a good idea. Works well with MA1 :)

MA1 ST5 AG3 AV10
Right Stuff, Jump Up (Throw it and let it cause Havoc with Jump Up), Dirty Player, Stab (Throw it and let it jump up to Foul), Grab, Thick Skull.

With those skills a price of 150-180k is ok i think cause he is a funny thing

Skills that Player should definitly not have:
Mighty Blow, Wrestle, Block, Tackle cause else it must cost atleast 200-250k (just compare with Deeproot or any other big guy Star) cause then it would go away from funny thing into another very evil thing

But I have to say i would really love the Jump Up Right Stuff combination as long as it is not together with some other evil things. I can imagine having one of the big trees throwing the Plant Pot after someone having it bounce up and smash down on somehting :)

BTW where do we keep up with the growing pains of Pot Plant? I see the comics posted on here from time to time, but is there a source site I should check?
Unfortunately not.
As and when I do cartoon strips of the HFH (Sometimes with Pot-Plant) I post them in the General chat area. Mainly I have spurts of inspiration and blat out a few cartoons and post them up, what with sculpting, casting, tournis, 40K, drinking, sleeping, eating, drinking, sculpting etc etc!

It's a bit sporadic so you'll get the occasional infussion of the HFH from time to time.

I bet we could find a friendly site to host an archive for you. Would you like us to ask around?

Incidentally, if you're insisting on skills mentioned in the cartoon, he needs TTM.
