Orc Blitzer Development

Post by Diesel »

I have just completed a game that leaves my Orc team in possession of AG 4 thrower and Blitzer. The rest of the team just has some basic or block linemen and 3 Black Orcs.

My question - depending on the next skill roll for the Blitzer what do you think would be good options for his development??

If he rolls doubles, Dodge or Catch...

On a normal skill roll, take a standard blitzing skill like tackle or mighty bow. He's still s blitzer. He is just much more mobile now. Now he can dodge easier and do the dirty work.

On a normal Skill i would take guard help´s to protect him if he carries the Ball. On doubels take Stand Firm or Dodge

think about Pass Block...an AG4 guy in the back field can make opponents think twice about passing in his proximity.

To really make that effective, you need to get catch as well, and that's another doubles roll on an orcish thrower. If I were you, I'd go for accurate on the thrower, followed up by block/Strong arm on doubles. Orcs with passing threat game are a different sort of beast than the typical Orky bashing tactics. It will let you have options against other bashy teams.
