Discuss Fantasy football-style board games - GW's Blood Bowl, Impact!'s Elfball, Privateer Press' Grind, Heresy's Deathball, etc. THIS IS NOT AN NFL FANTASY FOOTBALL SITE!
However you play online - Java, Vassal, Email, Cyanide etc - talk about it here.
This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

I'm using one.com for hosting. (€1.25/month + domain name charge for 3Gb space and unlimited traffic.) You need a webserver (Apache), PHP and MySQL to run OBBLM. With WAMP (really easy install) you can run OBBLM locally on Windows too. (Or on any comp, regardless of OS, that can run Apache, PHP and MySQL.)
~150 matches total, ~25 teams takes less than 1Mb space in DB and about 6Mb filespace.
@howlinggriffon: When upgrading, your files will be overwritten. Save a copy of your edited files. Generally speaking, the only file OBBLM wants you to edit is settings.php. But better safe than sorry - make a DB backup and a filesystem backup before upgrading.

Yup - I fully backed up all the files as well as the SQL database before I started. I've got 0.7 running on the site now but I've got a glitch with the try-out inducements. It says there's an error :
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/cbbblcou/public_html/inducements.php on line 262
I think it might just be me as I have an edited lrb6 file.

It's not neccassarily your fault. I'll let Daniel have a chance at looking at it first. Please, lets continue using code.google.com for issue discussions/reporting and not talkbloodbowl.com.
Cool, made it work (first time I've used php, mySQL, or apache), and I like it. Just running on my machine at the moment while I play with it. If anyone else, like me, is a complete novice with this kind of thing, then this link:
when I try it on the Demo site it works fine, however when i try it on my site it doesn't work. just goes to a blank page and when I try and open it in a new tab I get FPDF error: Can't open image file:
I am running the league of my MAMP installation on my mac at home.
Can you please tell me when the next full release will be issued? I understand there are some cool advances such as java menu's etc. Rather than installing piecemeal, I would live to simply upgrade to v1.1 or whatever you guys choose as the next increment.

I'm guessing you are Lorne who has posted this too on code.google?

So ETA for next major dot release?
Thanks!
We slowly increment the version numbers (kind of like google never making anything v 1.0), the next will be 0.75 which I hope to be released quite soon (within next week). Trying to catch as many bugs as possible before releasing it (mostly just visual "bugs" left now).
Yes, the next version does in fact have a lot of nice new stuff. Amongst the news is a new menu system and a whole new cross-comparable statistical system has been written - really launching the obblm statistical capabilities into overdrive . I think funnyfingers uses one of the latest revisions: http://ate.stuntyleeg.com/.
Im sort of slow when it comes to computers so Im wondering if someone would like to help me get this program up and running. I already have an account on one.com, so I guess all I need is to download and upload and God knows what to make this work
