Wardancer 7347 block, fend, leap 110K (or 120k) would be fair

Wardancer 8347 block, leap 110k (or 120k) would also be fair

As an alternative solution, if he was dropped to MA7, then his price should also be dropped to 110K - at which point he would no longer "deserve" MA8.

7347 block, fend, leap 110K?

If something must be given to WD's for losing MA and/or dodge why not make them mirror pro elf blitzers? Fluffwise I know WD's arent wearing armor, but they ARE wearing warpaint, which was more powerful than armor in old WHFB anyway:

WD 7348 Block, Leap 110k GA/SP

BTW martin, apparently you dropped all suggestions that nerf the catchers :D (while keeping the ST2 lineman suggestion). Imo getting 1AG & sprint compared to human catcher seems a fairly good deal.

Maybe you should regroup all the "Wardancer's ideas" in global concepts for now (and maybe have a round 4 later, or another thread just for him ), for example :

Wardancer's modification
A) MA 7
B) Loose a skill
C) Trade a skill
D) MA 7 1 Trade a skill
E) Price raised to 130k
( I suggest to include a 10 k discount for B & D, as said earlier)

Personnally, I take D (with Dodge traded for either Fend or Side Step)

Otherwise, I don't see on your list Sprint removed from Catchers, although i'm (almost) sure i've seen it somewhere in this thread ...
EDIT : and it seems i'm not the only one who noticed that point

Hi Rhyoth and Carnis,
as stated at the bottom of the options list:
I've not included any suggestions that reversed the LRB6 tweak to catchers

LRB6 is my starting point. I did the same thing with khemri - disregarded all suggestions to go back to the LRB5 Tomb Guardians. I just don't want this to end up as a fight between LRB5'ers and LRB6'ers - and I know there are some people out there who didn't like the LRB6 tweak.

I don't see the point here. Well i'm not familiar with LRB 6 but I remember that Catchers traded 1 MA for Sprint, right ?
Now we were not trying to reverse that change : we meant Catchers lose Sprint, without seeing their MA point back !

Since a 8247 Catch, Dodge WE Catcher is worse than both LRB 5 or 6 version, I can't see any conflict here.

Besides, that change is interseting combined with an MA 7 Wardancer ...

Hi all,
I'll probably just have the options for wardancers to "lose dodge" or "lose block" and then have a follow-up poll to see what to do to whichever one of those 2 won.

I'll be setting up the poll on friday.
Cheers

Right. Very little feedback to go by.
I had to split the WD poll in 2, to keep this poll reasonable.

"Crucial that WDs like block"

Does this indicate that you want them to keep block or want them to lose it? :)

Remove the Treeman got my vote, though personally I'd like to see Wardances get nerfed a bit as well (losing Block, gaining Fend or Sidestep).

Leap is fun though, and not too reliable (without Very Long Legs, anyway) on its own. I don't mind it, anyway.

Though I suppose it could be considered to take it off Wardancers as a starting skill. But I don't think it's the reason they are too powerful, just icing on the cake really.

To be perfectly honest, removing Treemen from the roster would do it for me. Wood Elves should be a finesse team after all. Heck, I'd probably give them back their MA9 Catchers as well. But the Trees really cause issues (and their slow movement means little, since...well, drives don't last long with Wood Elves).

Though I'd be happy for a small Wardancer nerf as well. But not essential.

wood elves still won loads without the tree when that was tested they got beat up loads

it's the wardancers that are the issue

Remove Dodge and/or Leap from WDs? :o

Have you guys got any idea what the WDs do in WFB?

Might as well call them, "Crappy human-like Morris Dancer" from then on!
