I would ditch the 3rd BOB and take
4 Blitzers
2 BOBs
1 Thrower
2 Goblins
3 Linemen
RR x 3
FF x 4
or .. replace 1 of the blitzers above with a lineman, another with Varag and have 2 RRs (+ Varag's Leader RR) and FF5

While we're on the topic of orc teams, could someone kindly give some advice on a good one off Orc team for a tournament - namely the Bloodbowl. £1 million, and 1 star player, there's lots on league team structure but not that much (that I can find) written on one off teams such as for tournaments.
I have a provisional line-up,
Varag,
2 Blitzers
2 BO's
2 Throwers
1 Troll
2 LM
1 Gobbo
2 RR
2 FF
My biggest concern is having a gobbo in an 11 man line-up, although I could swap it for a lineman and 1 FF. He does give that additional attacking edge, but also the weakness on defence. Not a fan of star players, but if they're allowed it's hard to resist varag, he's just far too good for the price - effectively including a re-roll in his cost.
My league team just has the one thrower, so that might be a possibility, but having a second player capable of picking up is always nice, and I do enjoy playing a slightly unconventional attacking game with orcs rather than just standing and pounding, because any orc line-up can do that when it feels like it.
Thoughts on a postcard...

If you can only freeboot stars, can you count them as one of the 11 on a starting roster? Freebooting is done in the pre match sequence so it looks like your team only has 10 players.
Don't sweat the Goblins. You need them to quickly score or dodge around to lend assists. There's little room on an Orc roster for Lineorcs. I'd drop the troll and buy another RR and a Gobbo. I'd also consider swapping a Thrower for a Gobbo and a few FF. You don't need 2 throwers but Sure Hands sure is nice. You might have to buy 2 Goblins though, depending on the answer to the question I posed above.

3 Starting Orc Rosters that are worth considering:
If you want 4 RR's:
2 Blitzers
3 Black Orc Blockers
1 Thrower
3 LineOrc
2 Goblins
4 Re-Rolls
6 Fan Factor
If 3 RR's is enough for you, and you value 9FF for what its worth, or if you just don't want to have to use Goblins in your Orc team:
2 Blitzers
3 Black Orc Blockers
1 Thrower
5 LineOrc
3 Re-Rolls
9 Fan Factor
1 Cash
Tho, the starting Roster I've started favouring because it gives you all 4 Black Orcs at the Start when you need them so they gain skills more quickly, has the 3 LineOrcs for a front line, and 1 Gobbo which has good uses:
2 Blitzers
4 Black Orc Blockers
1 Thrower
3 LineOrcs
1 Gobbo
3 Re-Rolls
8 Fan Factor
Dont start with a Big Guy in Orcs, you dont need it, you also have 8 * 80K positional players to buy and expensive RR's. Always start with more Black Orcs that Blitzers, and atleast 3 Black Orcs if you want to win in a league.

Interesting replies, and one's I'll certainly bear in mind for league set-ups.
I may not have been clear in my original post that the roster I'm building now is for THE Bloodbowl tournament on march 1,2 at GW Warhammer world. So it's a one off team, only prgression is one skill per game, and any injuries are wiped clean between games, so it's essentially looking for the quintissential orc starting line-up available with just £1 million (only 1 star allowed).
This will explain why you can buy the star rather than freebooting as per normal league rules.
