Well there wasn't really an English Scottish match. It was more like a England V England match with a Scot on either side. And a pissed paddy stumbling around the pitch.

The rest of the scots were back at the caravan hogging the homebrew.

Or the turning up! I'm not angry about the no shows from all those who were boasting about it before hand - I'm just very disappointed :(

I was speaking more of spending time with the children, they were my responsibilities, so again I do apoligise for disappointing you, but spending time with them is a little more important than football

Given what we heard about last year's football, surely some kids would have improved the skills level on show ;)

All I'll say is that without some fouling little !censored!, my scoring boots (bare feet) were well and truly on this year.

The only person on the pitch I was scared of was Hoomin, maraudering around in his army boots.

n.b. my foot did take the full force of the Manj, but as he stopped to apologise, I squared to Mamapepe to score the winner... 8) That wouldn't have happened had gav been on the pitch as a) he definately wouldn't have apologised (in fact, he'd probably be quite proud)[in fact, he'd probably had left the ball altogether to crush my foot], and b) my foot would've snapped in 2.
