Having never played Slann, I thought I would take them to the following tournament :
Teams using LRB5+Rules Review. 1.25 Million Resurrection Style.
*Underworld, Chaos Pact and Slaan teams welcome.
*Team must have at least 11 players.
*Skills, Inducements and Star Players are allowed at 20k per skill, limit to 1 skill per player.
*Skills may only be selected from the normal skill categories allowed for the player, ie no Doubles or Stat Increases.
Looking for advice on team make-up. All suggestions welcome.
Slanns for a 125 tournament

i would probably use the following:
1 kroxigor,
2 blitzers,
4 catchers,
5 linemen,
1 apoth,
4 rerolls,
1 coach,
1 cheerleader
you could drop a reroll and apoth to upgrade 2 of the linemen to 2 more blitzers i guess but I dont think a slann team really needs more than 2 blitzers even at this level apart from for the extra speed they bring.

When I think of a solid slann team I think of something along the lines of...
Kroxigor (guard) - 160k
3 Catchers (dodge, dodge, surehands) - 300k
9 Linemen (wrestle, wrestle, strip ball, strip ball) - 620k
4 RRs - 200k
1280k total. You might want to drop two skills, drop a lineman, or a re-roll. Its all personal preference but this would be my starting point.

Update: the Hartlepool family Glynn now has a virgin bath.

I'd drop a lineman and give a lineman a skill. You need the TRRs with all that investment in d6 rolls and so little Block/Wrestle, and three skills and 1FF is a steep price to pay compared to the #2 reserve.SillySod wrote:When I think of a solid slann team I think of something along the lines of...

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.
