6 + 4 on a Dwarf Longbeard, What to do?
Hello, I've just rolled the above for a rookie dwarf team (only 2 other guarders thus far, a MB Slayer and a block Runner).
I normally like +MA, but not on an AG2 player and MA5 isn't exactly going to make him a terror in my opo's backfield... AV10 looks pretty cool, but probably isn't all that useful.
Should I just go for the dull but effective guard route?

I rolled a 6+4 on a MB PO Slayer last night (LRB 4).
I took the +MV, so that he can chase/threaten postionals better, but I'm not all that psyched about it, unlike most +stats I get. Under LRB 5, I would have taken AV and been happy, but I dunno... I started as a Dwarf coach, so I'm already in the habit of planning long term with positioning to overcome my short-leggedness. We'll see how it goes

Same here. Skill is always better (unless you already have plenty).Smeborg wrote:With Chaos Dwarfs (somewhat different, I know) I have tried both +1MA and +1AV.
I regretted both choices, and if faced with the same decision again, I would take the normal skill instead.
