Bloodbowl PC game

However you play online - Java, Vassal, Email, Cyanide etc - talk about it here.
This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

Bloodbowl PC game

Post by Vigfus »

Hello,

A bit surprised not to see a topic on this yet. Well, the bloodbowl PC game is out since yesterday (or was it the day before?). Played it a couple of times already. It's just like bloodbowl. So far I've only tried the campaign mode in which you get to play in different tournaments. The better you do, the more prestige your team wins, which in turn opens up other tournaments for your team.

The computer AI isn't bad, but I suspect this has more to do with the low prestige games I've only played up till now. I assume when you get to higher stadiums the AI will get better.

What also seems to be good is the ability to set up tournaments and or leagues online! Apparantly you can use House rules in your tournaments and adapt the rules of the game in a number of games (Haven't experimented with this yet). If there's going to be leagues I'll sure see to participate in a couple of them. Too many coaches I'd like to play that live too far from home. It still misses the social aspect but some messaging is probably included. (Okay, It's an excuse for me to drink beer with a like-minded companion).

Any plans on setting up a league?

Is just that nobody notices your prodding Grum.;)

And the General Chat Forum can be used just as well as this part of the forum for the PC game. It's not always going to be used online I guess.

Yep, Kim has been rounding up some belgian folks for a league. Not everybody has their copy of the game yet (me, for example :) ) so it hasn't started yet. Kim is already online though, look for Uriel .

Did you buy your copy in a shop or downloaded it?

ANd as the posts are in the General area, no need for another on here.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
