High Linemen, Team Value or Bloat?
Well I have been playing 3 teams of HEs in the MBBL and it being a very seasoned, yet always new blood league, I have run into an interest problem for me.
I have HE linemen, who are getting their 3rd skill while lots of new players having to come on board due to deaths.
What do you give a lineman after Block/Wrestle and Dodge. Is that third skill just adding Bloat to the Team Value?
Get 3 skills on each Catcher, 3 on the Blitzers, 3 on a Thrower, and 3 Rerolls and all of a sudden the old TV seems to be kinda high, when you start thinking 2 linemen out of 5 have 2 skills working on number 3.
Just wondering what you HE coaches have come up with on this.

Side Step! Then stick 'em on the line and you'll take a lot fewer blocks and score more.

What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

Wrestle fend is worth considering in a bashy league, have no experience with it, but although SS is better overall, fend counters piling on..
I'd keep 3skill linoes, if you havent skilled them wrongly. If you want to improve your team you could start cycling them (those who don't roll doubles first 3 skill s-> Sack). This works more splendid on LRB4 where you dont pay extra for doubles, but is still valid in LRB5 as 10k extra is a bargain for an AG4 guard for instance.

See, I don't think you start hitting the point of diminishing returns for a lineman until you've got 4 skills. Mass Side Step is a game-breaker, and everybody likes Block or Wrestle plus Dodge.

I have avoided Side Step due to it being PbEm (MBBL) and that skill being a tricky one. I feel its one of the skills that just does not work as well in the Tool as on tabletop. Since you aren't there to direct where your going.
Was thinking of cycling them, its just the Blitzers and Catchers and Thrower are expensive buggers once skilled, and didn't know if trying to trim the 3rd or wait til 4th skills on the linemen to keep TV bloat down.
My usually idea is Block/Wrestle with Dodge as my 2 skills. Third is Fend or Jump Up (both in mass amounts, which every one I choose) one gives me stalling power the other total mobility.
Was thinking of cycling all who could not get Guard in the first 3 rolls, never have enough of that skill on a HE team.
