I don't think this was covered in the EXP thread, but if it was I apologise for wasting everyone's time.
If in a league using the EXP rules, what happens if a coach forfeits the game? In the LRB it would mean the other coach would get 2 MVP's. Does that mean each player would get 2 EXP rolls?
EXP and forfeiting.

EXP and forfeiting.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Thanks. Don't think he will, but Torgs down to 6 players, and we're only halfway through the 1st half
. My Vamps suddenly seem to have worked out how to hit people HARD (I've SI'd one vamp), and the crowd must have been eating Garlic Bread as they've managed to KO the other 2 vamps on his roster, plus I've BH a thrall.
I feel sorry for him, cos this is the 1st game I've played were the dice have gone against my opponent in such a big way.

I guess that "forfeiting in the middle of a game is just like conceding... page 45 of LRB (ver 2.0)....I don't know how exactly it would work out for a forfeit in the middle of a game.
The only problem is the "other player MVP".... but I guess you can mark 5 comps... or create a new collum to these situations (there is also a result from the handcap table)...

The MBBL rule for midgame forfeits is the same as start of game forfeits.High & Mighty wrote:Three TDs is for a complete forfeit with the idea that teams earn about 10 SPPs per game. I don't know how exactly it would work out for a forfeit in the middle of a game.
The winning team in the MBBL gets one TD for every 5 full turns they had left in the game INSTEAD of getting an extra MVP. So if Torg forfeits at the end of the 1st half you would get one extra TD for a random player.
Extra notes of forfeiting in the MBBL:
1) Both players still make EXP rolls as long as the forfeiting team played at least one turn. Otherwise the forfeiting team does not make EXP rolls, just the winning team.
As for the page 45 rules:
All of these apply IF the player forfeits while he still has 3 or more players able to take the field for a drive. The MVP thing of course doesn't happen. If one coach concedes the match then the winner gains
all of the loser’s money (from the game’s gate) and his
MVP, and may add +2 to his Fan Factor roll. In
addition, the loser automatically loses one Fan Factor
and may not roll for a new one, and any players in the
loser’s team that have 51 SPPs or more will leave the
team on a D6 roll of 1-3. Roll separately for each player
with 51 or more SPPs to see if they leave.
IF the player is not able to field 3 players for a drive and then conceeds, the winner still get to add the loser's gold to his, BUT the loser also gets to keep his gold as well (the MBBL calls this the Beaten into the Ground bonus) ... in addition if you conceed for not being able to field 3 players for a drive, your 51 SPP or more player do NOT roll to leave the team.
