You could base your team's fight song on "Vengeance (the Pact)" and see who gets it.

Reason: ''
What is Nuffle's view? Through a window, two-by-three. He peers through snake eyes.
What is Nuffle's lawn? Inches, squares, and tackle zones: Reddened blades of grass.
What is Nuffle's tree? Risk its trunk, space the branches. Touchdowns are its fruit.

In that same shipment, I bought a Zombie (Boss) with Chainsaw.... Awesomely distinctive and... what better recommendation is there... it's by Bob Olley!

Good choices! Those are awesome minis, and work well for Necros.

I seem to forever struggle with pics... and it seems the lighting is only best during mornings... so these pics DON'T do the mini justice....

Ok, enough of that.... Here's the Void Spirit that will be taking on #11 duties for my Necro and Undead teams (final paint/not based):

I'll take any final suggestions... though the team colors ARE the lightning blue and granite that you see in the pics....

I'll try for better pics in the morning....

In true BB fashion, I'm playing around with celebrity names (Bruise Killis being the first) and came up with an excellent second zombie name in "Spiked Jones".... In researching Mr. Jones, I came across Never Hit Your Grandma with a Shovel... truly something a zombie would sing:

"Never hit your grandma with a shovel, it makes a bad impression on her mind" "...for she may retort in kind!" "So respect her aged head, stay the shovel and instead, waste your dear old grandma with a great big ROCK!" :P

"... and it's Beetlebaum!"

Today was the Blood, Sweat and Tears comeback for the Gravely Repulsed: sitting in the bottom of a 6-team ladder, they challenged 20 points up against the Desert King Khemris, who beat them a couple weeks ago, 1-0.... Pre-game, Repulsed raises a journey-zombie that looks a wee bit skeletal... and a wee-bit Egyptian... what's up with that?! :o DKs are the 120k underdogs and take a couple o' bony babes (wow did they ever come in handy!).... FAME goes to the Khemri and the kick goes to the Grave!

Nuffle was drooling on the field heavily and with a perverse rictor! High Kick is fielded cleanly by Terrorblow, while the line & blitzers make contact... well, sorta.... The initial 3 blocks are 2d pushes against skellies... then that suspect j-zombie doubles down on a 2d! Attempted reroll and, yes, failure! This leaves the ball secure and the wings vulnerable and, sure enough, guardians and skeletons penetrate the ball side wing and, on the other side, the first blitz results in the newly block-skill-acquired, Slashkill (werewolf) getting poleaxed by a tomb guardian... of course no damned regen.... ONLY good thing is he'll only miss next game.... It sooooo looked like game over on turn 1!!!!

Within two turns the bone-boys have locked down the Necros and are bashing them like a pinata... with the crunchy Terrorblow going up and down, yo-yo style, but keeping it together.... Terrorblow finally recovers the ball and blitz-dodges out the other side, making two gfi's to elude pursuit.... Turn 8, and TB gets the TD!

The Kings would respond with a murderous hit against the 1 Ag zombie, Dashrot! Again, no regen.... :pissed:

Second half and the Repulsed are facing a full squad thanks to the bon(n)y babes.... Kicking setup tries to maximize survival and fails, with scary skeletal linemen and wrapped wrackers pummeling the front line.... On the other end of the field, a skeleton spends two turns securing the ball... with the Repulsed getting gob-smacked (the four strength wight, other werewolf and a ghoul in the knockout in two turns!).... Looking real good for the Deserts defenders, when Hanover Fiste dodges away from a guardian to blitz down the ball carrier!!!! Fiste gfi's, but can't pick up the ball.... Fiste gets knocked down and the DKs secure the ball, only for Fiste to get up, dodge again and blitz down the carrier!!!! This time, numbers would tell... and a little luck has the bone blackheart with the ball and whistling down the wind, and the other side of the field from the weary Hanover....

It's looking seriously ugly for the Grave! Everyone's surrounded and the carrier is 5mp from putting the spoils on a true heartbreaker.... Only Thundercharge is close enough... with one reroll... and somewhat surrounded by the enemy! He dodges into a tackle zone!... he dodges outta a tackle zone!... he blitzes (1d) and gets a push!... he rerolls and gets a defender down!!!! Ball stays on the field and he gfi's to it! Then he fumbles it outta bounds.... The crowd throws it straight in and deep to the middle of the field....

Nothin' but Khemri in the area! A skeleton sprints to the end zone... another grabs for the ball... and gathers nothing but wind!

Game over, and an exhausted bashed, bruised and beaten Repulsed catapult from last to third in the ratings!!!!

The Kings skill up a skeleton with a patented, Aahz roll of 5+6! He chose the agility over sure-hands.... Thundercharge would receive the MVP for his brutal blitz (though Hanover deserved it, possibly, more!).... Terrorblow skilled up with Block!

Repulsed will have to rely on THREE journey-zeds next game! Fortunately, 70k more in the kitty and a fourth reroll is secured!

Even the devil would call this win, "pyrrhic"....

Thanks, JaM... Feels like I had to cough up a lung to Nuffle to get it... but he came through for me with the spectacular antics of Hanover & Thundercharge.... Guess we can go to our corners for now....

I'm painting the Wargods of Aegyptus ghouls for my team. They are delightful models....

Mine are definitely different in color... but, hopefully, just as nicely done....

Here's a few, hopefully, better pics:

When you get to the imageshack site, click on those pics to get a better look... for some reason the initial pics look a lot darker than the closer ones when you click on them....

Nuffle wore a Khemri crown and sceptor today... repeatedly offering the Gravely Ill (Nurgle) to kiss his asp!

I rolled so many 1s and skulls that: 1) The ball never got within two squares of the LOS, 2) Polytheism was instantly established and verified and 3) the Universe shifted out of phase.... So, being as I obviously now live in a reality of one-sided dice (1d1), could someone develop inter-dimensional travel and GET ME OUTTA HERE!!!?

I even rolled a "1" for a 1-square, "dink-pass" to end the 16th turn.... And then rolled a "1", post-game, to give MVP to a rotter that had absolutely nothing!

IT---GOT---WORSE---TO---DAY--- :-?

New Wood Elf team in the league and, like a fool, I challenged it with Gravely Repulsed.... There are only 3 syllables necessary, in the English language, to describe Woodies in Blood Bowl: BUH-RO-KEN!!!! Everything succeeds on a 2+ (for 95+% of diceable, non-blocking actions) they just waltz through things that give Ag3 coaches ulcers.... The most disingenuous, dishonorable of the cheesiest cheese... and I can thank Nuffle's perverse asp that it only ended 0-3 instead of 0-4 (the only time he aced out was a final gfi with a catcher).... Didn't help that every time I had a chance at the end zone I either fumbled the ball... fumbled the pass... or rolled double skulls....

I really need an apothecary.... NOT for the team... for ME!
