Magic Codpiece vs. Niggling Injury

Post by Gaixo »

The text of the Good Old Magic Codpiece card states that:
injury rolls against this player cannot be modified or re-rolled by anything including (but not limited to) Dirty Player, Mighty Blow, Piling On, and Stunty.
So would a player with a niggling injury still take the +1 to his injury roll? I can see it going either way. I guess the recurrent injury factor of a niggle is most similar to the inherent physical weakness represented in Stunty, so it would still work?

I would say no, niggling injury doesn't affect a player with a Magical Cod piece.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.
