I agree with snotsgrots. take 4 goblins. You think they're crap. they're not if you know how toplay them. they got dogde and stunty. cross 5 tackle zones with them, they're made for that. and they can take AG skills. the skill qhere yo can choose where you're pushed or blocked allows to run on the border line and stuff.
Blitzer are better than B orcs, for me :P a coule of BO is enough to have a stron LOS. you've got different players, play them differently!

That is the team I take to win. Haven't you been listening? It may look like a joke to you but it is a very serious team and it's a threat from 2 different angles. That's hard to defend against. You do have to keep your fingers crossed the first match but, after that, you get the Apoth and fill out your roster. Blitzers are far more important than Bobs. Quit looking at strength as the Orcs tool for winning.

Oops, sorry, I just saw that this is your first game ever. Maybe you want to try this instead

4 Blitzers 320K
3 BOBs 240K
1 Thrower 70K
2 Goblins 80K
1 lineorc 50K

3 Re rolls (you won't want to start with less than this for your first league)
6 FF (I advocate 9 but I upgraded [downgraded] a Goblin to a Lineorc, The extra reroll cost the rest)

This team is more mainstream Orc and, I think, a bit harder to play. I don't think you NEED a Big Guy at all, certainly not on your starting team. Get him later. Don't ever buy more than 1 Lineorc or you'll end up canning some to fill your roster in with positional players. I'm considering Goblin as positional players in the reference. The BOBs are your line. Don't worry about them, they take care of themselves and one might even get an occasional casualty. Don't use them to Blitz unless you have to. Lack of Block is their weakness. Throwers are very valuable since they come with Sure Hands, my favorite skill to ensure I have the ball in the end zone. I'll score with them in a second if I can. I love to develop Orc Throwers into powerhouses. Blitzers are your bread-and-butter, score with them and kill with them. Rember to score though. That's how you win.

Having played Snot's Ork team recently, I can vouch for his playing ability. But I don't remember seeing four goblins. A couple of the little buggers must have gotten killed off and been replaced with better players.

Or, maybe the troll ate them...
