Trying to guage interest in a Bristol Bloodbowl tourny

Post by MunkeyKungFu »

Hi guys,

The Bristol Vanguards are looking to run a Blood bowl tournament on the 3rd-4th July 2010.

So we can book a good enough sized venue we are trying to get a rough idea of who would be interested in a Bristol Bowl.

I'd be interested in something like that.

I know a few other coaches in Bristol or near there that might be up for it as well.

I've heard the Vanguard have a BB league going on in the central Bristol GW on the their thursday game night. How many coaches are in it roughly?

Couldn't guarantee I'd be free on those dates until closer to the time but definitely up for it.

Good to see more tourneys in the South.

We have about 13-15 coaches who play. We usually have at least 3-4 games going each week.

As long as it didn't clash with Carrot Crunch and I was free, I'd be interested.

I'll be there in a shot if I happen to be back in the country around those dates! No idea if that'll be the case though

The Bristol Vanguard gang are a really great bunch of guys, and play a mean game of blood bowl to boot. (Adam here if any of you remember me! Necron/Necromantic player)

4 coaches from SWAT & CGC clubs would be almost guarenteed (& I cannot spell) and possibly more, theres also S.A.D (Swindon wargamers) who play BB so probably more, theres also a couple of "independant" (non club) coaches in and around chippenham (especially if the venue is disabled friendly)

@ Hudson, let me know if your up for this one....I may be able to assist with accomodation/transport.... :D

Unfortunately that rules me out of the Bristol one.

You could add me to the list of interested but not if it clashes with carrot crunch (which really was an outstanding tournie this year)
