Similarily, do get SPP for Completions with Bombs?
That may make it possible to skill up a Bomber other than MVPs!

i think the general consensus is you dont get interception points, so no comp points either.

In LRB6 the bomma can move the ball around so can score to gain SPPs.

Re: Intercepting a bomb and SPP

ecclektik wrote:This same question came up in my league and after perusing the thread from 6 years ago, I don't agree that this consensus still holds under the current rules (LRB5). The quote that takes precedence for me is from page 26:

"Interceptions (INT): If a player successfully makes an
Interception of the ball after making an Interception roll then they
earn 2 Star Player points."

Ball is italicized in the rules, not by me, meaning the rules writers have given it preference.
The opposition to that is the when throwing/catching/intercepting the bomb you use the rules for t/c/i the ball (except that you throw it again if you catch it). The rules make no exception for SPPs. So if you get SPPs for intercepting a ball you should also get SPPs for intercepting a bomb.

I wondered why that was in italics.

You should have written something like "ball (not bomb)", or mention it in the Bombardier skill, rather than having it in italics, as the italics looks meaningless and random.

Yep, looks like being the TBB Pitbull (not a name I gave myself btw) is paying dividends.
