Choosing to push into Stand Firm players

Originally GRab allowed you to move to any open square on a blitz too (In the Cyanide game.) However, I believe this option is now gone with the latest patch...

Honestly, I have mostly experimented with grab in the single player mode, and I cut it from my team when I realized it didn't allow me to push into other players. So I haven't verified it in awhile.

I'm sure that when you push into a sidestepper the computer seems to decide where the sidestepper goes.

It is proper annoying!!

grab doesn't cancel sidestep beyond the first push in a chain, so it's normal that if player A pushes player B into player C with sidestep, C's coach chooses where C goes, regardless of whether A or B has grab

not having the option to not use grab would be very annoying, though
