THE Blood Bowl, Who's going and what to take?

I'll be going to the Tournament, but not to win...

Why? Because I'm taking Goblins!

Pretty much planned my team out. Tell me what you guys think of it.

11 Goblins (Dead meat!)
2 Rookie Trolls (Big, dumb, and what I'll probably feed the "dead meat" to!)
Bomber Dribblesnot (To blow up any Gobbos that don't get eaten by the Trolls.)
4 re-rolls (Huh? Well trained Goblins?)
Fan Factor 4 (Well, they must have some fans...)

Not a team that will win many games, but at least I will have lots of fun! I am really just going to enjoy myself and to meet other Blood Bowl fanatics!

So, if any of you face a team called the Scab Clan Clowns at the tournament, you've got an easy win! (maybe...

)

You do know you're not limited to one star, right?
I'd squeeze in as many as possible if I was taking Gobbos, just for the fun factor!

Finally worked out my basic team but i have 11,000gp left over what should i spend it on?
My basic team is:-

NORSE
3 Blitzers
1 Thrower
1 Catcher
7 Linemen
2 RR
1 FF

I now have a choice of 1 of the following.....

1. mini the Minatour
2. 1RR+5FF
3. 1 Lineman+1RR
4. 1 Lineman+6FF
5. 1 Thrower/Catcher+4FF
6. 1 Blitzer+2FF

What do you think?

i`d go for upgrading one of the lineman to blitzer, +1 re roll +1 Fan factor

Thats not a bad idea

They only thing im worried about is the fact that every1 else is going to be taking a Big Guy and/or a Star Player.

Looks like its time 2 get the green stuff and a WFB orc out of the bits box and start working on a 4th Blitzer

I'd drop a Lineman for a catcher (Fetcher?) and buy an extra reroll with whatever's left for Fan Factor. Could be useful and you don't lose much.

Would I be better off dropping the 7th linerat and taking a apothecary? I'm thinking it might be better to try and keep the GR and SV on the pitch, rather than another basic guy.

Considering the re-set between matches and the fact that Skaven can still be effective with reduced numbers, I would convert one of the Linemen to another Gutter Runner at the expense of FF.

Hi Elfhater,
good luck with the gobbos.

The 2002 rules review has clarified that Ogre rookies do not cost double for halfling and gobbo teams!
I'd definately take rookie ogres over rookie trolls.
