When my runner rolled double 5 I took the +1 MA..

he died the next game...

Dodge may be a better option, but only if you can cope with all your opponents laughing at you, shaving your Dwarf and calling him Elfy the Coward!

well... I dont like woodies but DE aren't bad at all... and maybe if I choose dodge my runner survive a bit more than yours. But at the end if I choose +1 mo ther reason is simple... the possibilities of getting +1 mo are less than having doubles. You must admit that a Blodge dwarf runner could be great.

I'd take dodge. MA7 is really nice, but for the most of the time you can't afford to leave your other players behind, and dodge is useful almost all the time.

No other dwarf players on my league, incredible but true, people doesn't think dwarfs are a good team here.

I've been using dwarves for occasional PBEM practice matches and Norse's tactics work very well. Remember:

BLOCK, FOLLOW UP

Oh yeah, the mistake I keep making - keep your runner in the cage.

1 ogre
2 trollslayers
2 blitzers
2 runner
4 LB's
2 RR
2 FF

What do you think about? in other post norse said he dislike blitzers but...

my preferred line-up these days features 2 blitzers, 1 slayer and no big guy!

just one slayer??? for Blood bowl too?? what will happen if you play against lizards? you won't have enough guard players...

I think a pile on ogre can do a good job... and slayers are necessary against hard teams with luthor and co. or will you roll 2 dice against? remember they are going to hit your slayers and if you only have one...

I'll be surprised when (if!!) Dwarves ever win any Tourney. They're undoubtedly good out of the box, but they seem destined to be coached by guys more worried about protecting their personal reputation than going for the big prize..sorta the ' I know I can't win with dwarves but they're a safe option and I know I'll do OK with them'.
Still...about sums up the mentality of specialist Dwarf coaches..
