Savage Orcs
Going to be playing in a new league using MBBL2 rules/teams. I opted for some savagery. Has anyone played Savage Orcs? If so, do you have any tips for success?

Take a look Skummy. I also went with 2 RR and 6 FF
Minotaurs are allowed big guys...
Here is what tattoos do for me:
Tattoos: A player with this skill is surrounded by a thin yet incredible strong personal aura created by unshakable faith. This field/aura means his AV is fixed, and cannot be modified by anything. This means Mighty Blow, Dirty Player, Claw, Fouls assists, Chainsaws, etc. have no effect for the purposes of the player's Armour roll. Skills that effect the Injury roll will still work, if the armour is penetrated.

Re: Savage Orcs
Thomas Fritz, the coach of the Crunchies, has played the team a full season in the MBBL2. He has a 4 win-2 loss record. His email is at the top of his roster. Give me a write and see what he suggests, it is your best bet for pointers.bubb wrote:Going to be playing in a new league using MBBL2 rules/teams. I opted for some savagery. The linemen don't have access to Str. skills, so Sidestep could be a choice for them. This has the added advantage of possibly getting off the sideline and setting up a second person to shove off the pitch...

Gotcha! Thanks Zombie.....obviously block would be the first "normal" skill roll......considering these guys are going to be going ballistic.. I am starting to reconsider my RR number. 2 seems a bit light considering all of the block rolls....
Wondering if I should drop the kroxigor for another RR and a savage.....or another RR and an APO with the rest thrown at FF

Offence could be tough with this team. If a coach has enough strength to match up with you on the front line, it may be hard for you to get the first few blocks off. If this happens, your opponent could set blocks that are designed to put you at disadvantage after the Frenzy. Getting low on people could make your life difficult, especially with your low armor.

My main thrust will be to force my way through with the blitzers. They have block and horns which on blitzes is a pretty tough cookie. The kroxigor is going to help me with the LOS issues.
The frenzy does have me concerned. I have to follow everything up which is disadvantageous.
With a little luck the krox and my blitzers can clear the pitch off a little. The first couple of games will be tough. Once they have a few under the belt I think they should do well....
