I know of several leagues that use the teams on B-B.net.khorneskulls wrote:sorry,
but i thought u couldnt use the teams on B-B.net?
MBBL2, WBBL, WBBJ-L, CSBBL, and the PDHBBL
I also know of several leagues that use specific rosters off of B-B.net. The whole purpose of B-B.net is to try and take the best teams thought up on the internet and balance them out for league play. While there are a couple teams that I'm still really testing, I think at this point the vast majority of team on the site are balanced for league play.

If your commish wants them. There are several leagues that use the Other Allowed MBBL2 teams ... see list above.khorneskulls wrote:so your saying that all the ones under :Other Allowed MBBL2 teams
are allowed in leages!?!?!
Heck keep in mind that the GW Team Column needs renamed as it was based on BB Mag #1. The column should read more like teams based on team printed in GW articles.
Anyway, yes all those teams are available in several leagues. Most likely not your league, but there are several out there that use them or modifications of them.

On a related note,
I made a version of the savage orc team list a long time ago...including some star players and stuff...they were playtested some, in an allies/rookie big guys environment. Check em out here:

I think that team was the one we used as a basis and then tweaked. The Tattoos were a good add IMO along with the weaker AV across the board since the figs were basically armourless and the Horns on the Blitzer gave the team a little better hitting power for their lack of skills (and the minis for the Blitzers have huge freaking horns if you've seen the WFB figs).wesleytj wrote:On a related note,

The low AV is a concern but I play halflings and Amazons too so it is no big deal. The blitzer is pretty tough with block and horns.....I think I will enjoy this team. Thomas Fritz replied to me e-mail with pretty much the same advice. With frenzy you need to plan both blocks in advance....of course it happens that he will be playing in the PDHBBL as well.....oh the irony...

Bubb: Just thought I'd point out that you don't always have to follow up on a blitz with this team. If you are out of movement, the frenzy part becomes optional. This could lead to a situation in which it is a good idea for you to have your blitzer run back and forth in open spaces before throwing a block. I know it's a bit beardy and may never actually be useful, but it's better than being drawn in next to a bad block.

I would publically protest and denouce anyone who ever tried this in as friendly a jestful way as possible until he stopped. Taking the long way to the blitz ... fine ... jumping back and forth between two squares ... I'm post a beardy player notice on the league forum and here ...Skummy wrote:This could lead to a situation in which it is a good idea for you to have your blitzer run back and forth in open spaces before throwing a block.

Tattoos means the AV 7 isn't AS big a deal. Means that those Big Guys on the opposing team are just "mostly" normal players when playing your team ... it does mean however that Mighty Blow is always a +1 to injury against your team.

I've always thought that Frenzy should force you to throw the second block even if you have to go for it. If the rules encourage beardiness over good coaching, then beardiness will eventually become the accepted practice. Fouling every turn in previous editions wasn't exactly a sporting way to play - but it was effective.

When I said "roaming" I meant to keep them at distance where as if I wanted to throw a block but not follow through and block again I could do so. I certainly wouldn't shuffle from square to sqaure and then blitz. I wouldn't want my opponent to do that....so...but going the lon way around as you have mentioned is OK in my book.

Funny, we had people do that all the time in our home leagues and never thought a thing of it. Then we'd complain about other stuff I've seen taken for granted here. I guess cheese(beard) is in the eye of the beholder.GalakStarscraper wrote:I would publically protest and denouce anyone who ever tried this in as friendly a jestful way as possible until he stopped. Another thread just came up with a good way to prevent yourself from using Frenzy - pick up Multiple Block. Since you can't use both at the same time, it could actually be a really good skill for your 5 strength Frenziers.
