Ironmanj Teams

Post by Pipey »

What are you taking?

Can’t quite make Lizards work as well as they do under the Poo rules set, so I’m going for Humans with the extra skill points.

So many options though. This might be the best set of tourney rules ever!

I'll take Undead. In an unrelated note I have decided Undead are underpowered in LRB6 and will give them 10 points of extra skills.

It is a great start but they probably will need a bit of tweaking, some races look rather poor still. (though maybe an adjustment of tactics may prove this wrong)

Was going to take Skaven, but I'm 10k short of what I wanted to take (miscounted first time I added them up). Looking to take a flier with a nurgle team instead.

Still big thumbs up for the ruleset from me. Thought tournies had been getting rather stagnant of late.

Sure this isn't the case but are you are costing the Rat Ogre as 150k?

RO 150
4 GR 320
2 BL 180
1 TR 70
5 LR 250
3 RR 180
1 Apo 50

Nicely at 1.2m. What else could you need?

Variety of rulesets is great. This one being at such a high TV and having the skill / race tiers makes it interesting and brings a few more races in from the 'just for laughs' cold, which is grand.

As for races, HE for me. Vamps will wait until a less hectic week, and either higher TV or a few more skills (or both) always makes HE more tempting / gives them a bit more of a shot at a top half finish.

I reckon Woodies will boss the field with this setup, mind. Certianly one to avoid if possible please, Score!

Well this will be my first tournament, so looking forward to it with trepidation!

I'm torn between nurgle and Chaos at the moment, but have no real defined plan for skill buying yet....
Will probably end up throwing it together last minute...

Dark elves for me. I like the ruleset too, it brings the top races (exept wood elves) back to the pack a little.

Undead. I had such fun at the Gryphonbowl using the race for the first time I just had to use them again at some point, despite the slight knock in skill points.

Now if I could only keep my decision on skills for more than a day at a time...
