Halflings

Post by Chickenhawk »

Hi All

Just getting back into Bloodbowl after a long absence - one of the main reasons for this is all the lovely non-GW minis I've been finding on the net. I was just wondering if anyone new of a good range of non-GW Halflings? As much as I like the old ones I would love to get a team together with no doubles...

Maybe go a bit Halloween with your halflings... embrace the macabre.

Impact Deadlings or RollJordan Halloweenies would fit then. Halfling sized models with personality. (Your Search Fu should be strong enough to find the many links)

I'd seen those ones on my internet travels and would certain;y be tempted if I were to do a second team. Shame the manafacturers aren't making living halflings though - after all it's not as if there rubbish at blood bowl or anything. Ahem.

Fans do not have to be represented by models, but it's much more fun if they are!

Wouldn't Impact's Gnomes work as well? You may have to do something with the "Santa Hats"...

Good point, well made. I hadn't looked that far down the page. I may use one or two of those chaps, but I'm not that keen on halflings with big beards - looks a bit too dwarfy for my tastes.

Ah, but that's the beauty of these figures - you can use them as both. Don't even tell your opponent which version he's facing* until it's too late!
