If you developed an all dump-off team you could fit it theme wise to Human Estalia (going off the tiki taka style of football that Spain and barca play).

Make it all about the short passing and good positional play. Lack of agility may be a problem with that though.

But...

0-16 Linemen 6 3 3 8 Dump Off 60k A
0-4 Playmakers 6 3 3 8 Dump Off, NoS AP 70k
0-2 Blitzers 7 3 3 8 Dump Off, Block AG 80k
0-4 Catchers 7 3 3 7 Dump Off, Dodge GA 70k

Personally I find new races more interesting then new rosters for races that already have one (and in humans case, three), so for a short pass and dump off team I'd go for gnolls, seems like a nice idea for them to try and run the ball in a pack and also has the bonus of being able to use Impacts miniatures for the team. I also like the idea of an insect team, other then that, some sort of cat people team might be a possibility.

What are the current finesse teams, all elves, skaven, vampires and frogs?

Since no-body suggested anything cathay-nippon wise yet here goes:

Shaolin monk wannabes:

0-16 Linemen 6/2/4/7 Dauntless, fend GA/SP
0-4 Cathcers 8/2/4/7 Dauntless, side step GA/SP
0-4 Blitzers 7/3/4/7 Dauntless, wrestle GA/SP
0-2 Throwers 6/2/4/7 Sure hands, dump off GAP/S
0-1 Dragon 8/6/2/10 Loner, mighty blow, claws, shadowing, just kidding, leap, leader GAS/P

Reason: ''
there is Nuffle, always in my lawn
peering through my keyhole
wanting to touch my low hanging fruit

And the team has 0-4 throwers, rather than 0-2 - so they can really shift the ball around.
Then probably a few blitzer types (S-skills) to spice them up.
Slaanesh takes up the challenge to create the most beautiful passing game in the world?

Cult of Slaanesh

0-16 freaks 7/3/3/8 catch GAP/SM
0-4 daemonettes 9/2/3/7 dodge, diving catch GAP/SM
0-4 mutants 7/3/3/8 extra arms, pass GAPM/S
0-2 slaanesh warriors 6/3/3/9 nerves of steel GAS/PM

Having thought about it, I'm intrigued by the thought of a team that can move the ball very well, without having the mobility of elfs.
So, 2 versions:
0-16 Linemen 6338 NOS
0-2 Catchers 7238 NOS, Dodge, Catch
0-2 Throwers 6338 NOS, Pass, Accurate
0-4 Blitzers 7338 NOS, Tackle

Somehow, I like the 2nd one better:
0-16 Linemen 6338 Catch
0-4 Blitzers 6338 Block, Catch
0-2 Catchers 7238 Catch, NOS, Dodge
0-2 Throwers 6248 Pass, Catch

Cheers
Martin

Yes.
The Matriarch doesn't have Loner because she is the colony. I've thought about it and feel she is perfectly priced. Consider the cost of the Deathroller.

I want to add a new finesse team to my BB tournament list of available teams.
I've had about enough 2-1 grinds - especially at tournaments.

So, with no fluff concerns (yet) what would be an interesting new spin on a finesse team?

Cheers

Why would a new finesse team result in fewer 2-1 grinds?

damn, I was beaten to suggesting brettonians!

on a serious suggestion, I was pushing for a half elf team a while back when LRB5 discussion was taking place

turned into a combo between the current dark elf team and slann (fast dump off players / AG4 and AG3 mixed up roster / average armour) though not really with the leap, that is wood elves thing

What about a really slow passing team? Like with MA4/AG4?

Indeed.
I'm looking for 4 teams.

I'm using:
1. Daemons (AV7 bashy team. Not so great at stalling).
2. Brets. Oh put a sock in it will ya' :orc:
3. "Steel elfs" - high elf team with MA-1/AV+1, and 0-4 blitzers, 0-2 catchers. Perhaps a tweak to the thrower...
4... and ?
