Beating Orcs
I have never, till recently played against an orc team that used throw teammate consistently. I have just discovered, that using it allows them to score in one pretty reliably,
Is the coach cheating? or is it possible. If it is possible, how do i defend against it?
He does the following:
Setup ogre and gobbo to gethe at front, ogre on scrimmage, gobbo behind him.
Orc thrower picks up ball(3+, sure hands) and hands off to gobbo(3+,catch) ogre picks him up, throws to long pass(doesnt matter if inaccurate) and gobbo lands(4+, team reroll if necessary) and scores.
This if the only way i have seen a team score in one except using a movement ten player with sprint which is fairly hard to get.
Any suggestions on how to stop him?
The rules state that the gobbo cannot perform an action after landing if it performed an action before the throw. Catching doesnt count as an action does it?
any help appreciated

Its perfectly valid for him to do that, the best way to stop it is to set up players deep so that when the gobbo lands he has to make lots of dodge rolls. Though they can still score through this. Also kicking to a deep corner. This means the orc coach has to make more rolls getting the ball to the goblin. If he can't get the ball to the goblin witout throwing it then they won't be able to one turn score.
Also be careful about setting up deep, your then outnumbered at the LOS and they can then easily run down the pitch a bit, assuming they don't need to score in one turn.

BoB the other option if the ogre is on the LoS is to stack players in his tackle zome. The best the orc coach is really hoping for on the pass is an inaccurate one, this still allows the gobbo to land and score. However, your tackle zomes will greatly increase the chances of a fumble on the throw.
He can respond in two ways. put the ogre off the line of scrimmage forcing a longer throw and the scatter of the inaccurate throw may require the gobbo to push to get in for a TD.
Alternatively, he may use Black Orcs to beat your men away.
Either way, in combination with a deeper kick you are forcing him to roll more dice and thus have a greater chance of failing.
Your last option is to take down the ogre. This option is dependent on your team. Elf teams should probably avoid this option. But really the least you need is to KO him on your drive and reduce his chances of being there to throw the gobbo.

Hang on a sec, isnt it only an UNMODIFIED 1 that results in a fumble??
I always assumed it was...
So if i roll a 2 when throwing a long bomb, do i fumble?(assume no other modifiers, just the -2 for a long bomb)

Yes, it's a natural 1 that causes a fumble (I think, hurriedly checking rules
)
The best bet is to take the 1 turn TD hit on the chin, such as kicking first, then proceed the mash his goblins up so he can't do it again. Placing loads of TZs near your endzone is a valid idea, but Stunty limits their usefulness. Mind you, a few players with tackle can sort him out!

stop the Ogre!
I think the best way is to provoke a fumble by piling Tackle Zones on the Ogre, just as suggested before. Of course, the Orc player can just batter your guys before passing; this is where the secretweapon kicks in: Pass Block! I think its a great skill for Catchers and Blitzers, it's worthwhile two have two or more Pass Blockers on the pitch at the same time. Imagine the Ogre's surprise when two guys sidle up to him, make him fumble his friend and are right now ideally positioned to kick the little blighter's brains out!

How is an AG 2 Ogre throwing a Long Pass(Long Bomb) consistently without fumbling?
He has to roll a 4+ to not fumble and a 6+ to throw accurate.
If is doing that consistently over a long period of time you need to check his dice.
Throwing a Team mate is not a winning strategy.

Pass block
Cant only one pass blocker move when pass is announced?
Also, I can make a few points on the long term effectiveness of placing ppl with pass block right next to ogres...
That is when you will need the extra players with pass block, to replace the now dead one!
