Noob from Ohio

Post by jamesabels »

Hey!

Just wanted to say hi and that I'm a noob.

I found BB though the PC game and loved it, then I came across the podcasts and started to like it even more.

THEN I came across the Zlurpcast and became a fanatic, though I do not play as much as I should because I'm horrible. Haha

I have messed with Humans, Orcs and Skaven. I'm ok with offense most of the time but I'm horrible at defense, I just picked up the coach assistant app for the Iphone so that might help me make some more informed blocks but its more of a position problem with me than knowing how to roll or assist.

I know its super noobie but people online get me with the classic cage and for some reason I just cant seem to break it with my Skaven.

I think my team pick is good, I followed advice from Three Die Block for my initial team, just never seem to know how to defend in a preemptive manner I guess.

Anyways peace out for now!

Woops sorry, been busy the last few days.

I'm from around Xenia/Yellow Springs area, in Greene County.

Pretty much a wasteland of farmland out here, we have one store in YS that does MTG and some DnD but they are pretty small and mostly a comic shop. I think the closest bigger store is about 25-30 miles out and that is Bookery Fantasy but I'm not sure if they do BB. I know they do a lot of 40k though so that might be the closest place around here. Online works for me the best due to weird and random work hours (Freelance Artist) I may be starting work at 9am one day and 3am the next. The game is pretty good but I have been messing around a little with the idea of the Java based games or an email game or something. Actually Google Wave has worked very well for some DnD play groups. I wonder if any coders here could code up a BB dice roller extension for Wave. or even a Plugin to display the pitch! that would really tie the social aspect into the online game :)
