Chaos Orcs
Is it feasible and within the spirit to have Chaos Orcs?
Just allowing Orc teams to take mutations... and maybe a Chaos Ogre/Troll

No, just no.

Currently an ex-Blood Bowl coach, most likely to be found dying to Armoured Skeletons in the frozen ruins of Felstad, or bleeding into the arena sands of Rome or burning rubber for Mars' entertainment.

Re: Chaos Orcs
In fluff terms, the orcs have their own gods, Gork and Mork, who would probably squash any orc who wanted to go and join the powers of chaos.
So it REALLY wouldnt work im afraid.

I'm not even sure they even comprehend Chaos, never mind could embrace it.nazgob wrote:In fluff terms, the orcs have their own gods, Gork and Mork, who would probably squash any orc who wanted to go and join the powers of chaos.

Yeh I was thinking that would be the response. But no harm in trying.... I just like mutations.
Mutant orcs sounds fun.

Re: Chaos Orcs
There have been chaos orcs in previous editions of both 40K and fantasy and they did have access to mutations.
I think you'd need to nerf chaos orcs in other areas to make them balanced as adding mutations to the existing roster would horribly overpower what is already the overall best of the bashy rosters.

Blood Bowl isn't warhammer, there has been a history of bionics in the game from previous editions and the miniatures

Re: Chaos Orcs
This may be in previous versions, but currently bionics seem to not be involved otherwise they would be used in other places for starplayers or other teams, etc...Grumbledook wrote:Blood Bowl isn't warhammer, there has been a history of bionics in the game from previous editions and the miniatures
Though the idea of steam-powered orcs is intriguing. You could also have steam-powered armour for other races perhaps.
