Dauntless + Multi Block

Now this has been bugging me for years. With Multi block you add the strength of both opponents together then throw the block. But If I have Dauntless do I use it against the stronger foe or against the combined strength?

EX: My Trollslayer has Multi block and Dauntless, And I am blocking 1 Chaos warrior ST 4 and a beastman St 3 Do I dauntless against 7 or only 4?

there have been threads on this already, yes you use dauntless against the combined strength.
