I've only gotten two turns in and I think Craig may have produced his masterpiece. I loved the background roars in the locker rooms!

Thank Nuffle for voice modulation. No one wants to hear Pauly and I do that many voices. ;)

Put me down as another person that prefers the term "Pow" over "Open Star". That said, I do like Pauly's catchphrase and it wouldn't sound as good if he said "Wishing you Pows".

Since we're on the topic of terminology, I prefer the term "player" rather than "piece". It's Blood Bowl here, not chess! :x :D

Calling them pieces just makes them seem like exchangable pieces of plastic, rather than memorable players that you tell stories about, like the time Johnny Blitzer made 2 5+ Dodges and a GFI to take down a Skink and win the game.

Not that I'm intimating anything here, but the Chaos Cup does take place in Chicago.

The Podcast Battle MUST BE RECORDED!!!

I don't care how you do it just make sure I don't miss any of that action!

Also, really nice show, 3DB!

Zlurpcast will have thier mini recorder there, probably not full match reports but maybe pre/Halftime/Post match interviews.

Agreed on 'player' over 'piece'. That is something we work hard on, not calling them pieces.

Both of our sign-off phrases are meant to have double meanings - "Wishing you open stars" and "Stay off the sidelines" - that hopefully extend to more than just this great game of Blood Bowl. At least, in our imaginations. :)

You should at least let the recorder run the whole time and then send exerpts of the most memorable moments.

I use "open star", "dodge star" and "piece" when I'm referring to a type of player.

It is entirely the 'fault' of Three Die Block. If they weren't so prolific and entertaining it wouldn't happen. 8)

I also use "clean hit" for the Defender Down. I feel that's a perfectly clear term that shouldn't be confusing for anybody.
