I've never played Vampires, but I think your team is really interesting in that it has a "normal" amount of rerolls. Listening to 3DB and reading here at TFF gives the impression that Vampires cannot be played with less than 5 rerolls! And I guess that if you have a team of Thralls, the rerolls are needed, since they can't do anything reliably really. But with more ST4 AG4 players, you should need LESS rerolls, in my opinion.
What would you as a Vampire coach think of the following starting roster?
6 Vampires, 5 Thralls, 2 rerolls.
Vampire team dev? (was inducement)

Hi Akka,
here's the catch:
Bloodlust can suck up your rerolls. With 6 vamps you should fail one bloodlust roll per turn.
That's gonna cost you both rerolls and thralls, causing you to fail more and have fewer thralls to bite.
I think it would result in a spectacular failure.

Yeah, I thought so too at first, but has anyone tried it?
I mean, Carnis uses 3 rerolls for what, 5 vampires?

I use only 4 vampires. Using 6 vampires and 2 rerolls will end in spectacular failure, because 6 bloodlusts averages 8 failed bloodlusts per half which is the same as losing up to 4 thralls a half + the stuns ofc. A smart opponent will target your thralls from T1 and you will have even less stuff to bite. Then with 2 rerolls you end up running out of the pitch due to bloodlust.
With 3 rerolls and 7 thralls on the pitch the issue is much less of a problem.
I'm in the minority actually, but I think using a 70k reroll *just* to reroll a bloodlust (when you might as well bite a thrall) is huge overcommit and you are better buying 2 extra thralls to your reserves. The vamp team is doing great btw, I won the TT-championship agains zons and a got a +ST on my 4th blodge-vamp.
We had a guy trying 6 vamps 5 thralls 0-1 rerolls some times ago, it ends in spectacular failure as you run out of thralls, then out of vampires and your oppo basicly plays an empty pitch. But still, thralls & 1-2 rr's per half are enough for mitigating lust, IMHO.

OK, awesome! Thanks for the answers. I guess I'll try a few less Vamps and a few more Rerolls when I come around to playing them.

I kinda fantasize about fielding 6 blodge/pro vampires, but it seems to be to expensive (170k x6), so I never get around to doing it actually.. Also taking a stat inc basicly blows you off the pro train because then you've already used 3 skillups (Block/dodge are mandatory, especially dodge).
