TV115 Goblins for Rocket Bowl

Post by Leipziger »

I'm (hopefully) going to take goblins to the Rocket Bowl next month. It is TV115 and you get 4 skills points before game 1 and a further 3 before game 3 (normal skills = 1 point, doubles = 2 points). Players can be given more than one skill.

I'm thinking:

10 x goblin (400k) (1 x sidestep [1 pt])
2 x troll (220) (2 x block [4 pt])
Pogo (70)
Fungus the Loon (80)
Looney (40)
Bombadier (40) (1 x HMP [2pt])
3 x Reroll (180)
2 x Bribe (100)
1 x AC (10)
1 x CL (10)

What do you think?

WHAT!? :o Had to check this out ... oh my. Something beardy is going to happen somewhere.

Back on topic - take something good Alex! Join the powergamers' club.

I'm not sure if a chainsaw can use MB. But even so, I don't think its worth a double. They tend to die early, and get sent off anyway if not. Better spent on a Block/Guard Goblin that just might last the game.

2 Block Trolls is probably a good idea. They could be a real nuisance. Strong Arm might be worth a look though.

IMO Sneaky Git is inferior to Diving Tackle, Side Step or for the TTM Catch or Sprint/Sure Feet.

13 + 3 SWs might cost you with only one bribe. But with Goblins there is no "good" solution.

Incidentally, this only adds up to 113 so you could drop the coachs etc for another Bribe.
