Dark Elves for me.....

In case anyone wondered :D
Jimjimjimany wrote:Elves for me. Really like these rules too, loads of options and nothing terribly dreadful available (from what i've seen anyway).
My roster is probably going to be terrible (by skill choice) altho not as bad as the "No Mummies" undead from Scrumpy

Finally settled on 'Zons, not because I think I can win with them (I won't!) but:
a) because Moody has a nicely painted team which I think should be used more than just one at the ARBBL, and
b) because they're one of the 7 (or 8) teams left I need to get a NAF ranking with.

So 4 or 5 easy wins for some lucky people!

@ Duttydave - thanks for the offer of the Vamps. I may take up the offer of their use at another tourney. :D

I can also lend an ogre... although nazgobs is almost certainly a nicer ogre than mine :)

And that right there is one of the reason's I love the BB communtiy....

From my Batgobbo to Canteloupe's hasty Skitter conversion (tiny mouse with a knife!) people love 'different' mini's and they're always willing to lend a helping hand/team/mini so that somebody can field a full team....

Makes me wonder if any 40k players ever say 'You can borrow my command squad/Ultra Smurf Army for this tournament'???

Was going to be vampires...

4 vampires (block/dodge, surehands/dodge, dodge, pro) - 440k (+120k)
9 thralls - 360k
4 rerolls - 280k

Although I'd have been tempted to drop another thrall in favour of two more skills on the vampires. Exchanging a reroll for three skills or a fifth vampire was also tempting (add a dodge/wrestle vampire).

However, misfortune dictates a weekend of dark elves and a secret (but rather obvious) roster.
