League Mangement in BB:LE

However you play online - Java, Vassal, Email, Cyanide etc - talk about it here.
This is also the place for discussing the various tools for managing leagues, teams and so on.

League Mangement in BB:LE

Post by Warpstone »

Can anyone confirm the changes made to running a league in BB:LE? The original was so brutal in terms of management that our online league fell apart. Any one know if there are significant improvements in the new version?

From reading the Cyanide forum, some, but not as many as were requested.

Teams still have to be in multiples of 4 (2?), but more teams can be added per league.
Still no way to reconnect/replay games.
But the commish has more options, such as (iirc) removing/resetting games.

Even numbers.
Reconnect option should work - don't know if it's been implemented in the open beta though.
Games can be reset and SPPs are awarded and MNGs reset for adminned games as per concession rules (still no 51SPP rule though).

from what I read, games can be reset to be replayed, but reconnecting is not an option yet.

You get 5 minutes to reconnect. http://www.cyanide-studio.com/forumBB/v ... 65#p315665

Five minutes isn't long enough for my router to reconnect after it hiccups, opponents don't tend to wait around either.

Using stuntyleeg.com you should be able to host a league and run it anyway you please without the restrictions of using the in game management. It is what I intend on using for the BBT league.

Does Stuntyleeg work with LE yet?

I think so but not certain as I don't have LE yet.

I know the changes were being worked on last week and I doubt there was much modification needed to the code (though I'm guessing).
