Rocket Bowl Friday night

Post by Schmee »

Ahoy chaps! Who's around for Rocket Bowl fun on the Friday night? I'm getting in to the station at Leicester around 7 or 8 pm. Is there a plan for somewhere to meet up - maybe the Old Plough? Quite excited about this tournament - Woo!

Getting there at 8.25 by train.

Old Plough sounds a good place to drink...

Leipziger, Barney, Shaniepoo, Geoff and Myself will be arriving on Friday evening. Haven't the foggiest idea of the time though. Surely one of them will know where the Old Plough is.

I'm going to be around Friday night, but I don't know yet when abouts, I'll try to pop along. Leicester train station to Birstall is actually a bit of a pain carless, I recommend clubbing together for a cab (£10-£15 if not a black cab), or walking to St. Margret's bus station and catching a 125/6/7 to Birstall, then navigating from the A6 by foot.

I'm picking Nick up from the station on Saturday morning at 8:48 (unless he's now got a lift?), if anyone else is arriving about that time, give me a shout.

Does mean we'll miss the Sat. am. breakfast, Pug, any chance on putting a couple of butties aside?

Expect leave Manc 5 to 6pm, 2.5 hours, so drinking at the Old Plough around the 8.30pm mark (+/- an hour for traffic/arsing on/etc)

Rocket Bowl Thursday update:
Breakfast this morning was marmite on pikelets with a cup of tea. Decided to take Goblins.
I'll be checking the train times soon for the journey tommorrow.

I love a pikelet.

Clearly a mental edge over teacake man, Sizzler!

Sizzle has pies for breakfast, dinner and tea; as would any true man of Wigan.
