I have some scones, clotted cream and jam on standby. I am not afraid to use them.

Rocket Bowl Thursday update:

Just back from lunch (quiche and cous-cous) - Goblin team finalised (no stars, four secret weapons, two trolls)
Weather outside looks a little chill, but brisk. Now to decide on a religious text for my dice-mat.

Rocket Bowl Wednesday News Flash
===========================

Our boiler is on the blink. Thought I'd have a bath with several kettles full of boiling water. Whilst in the bath decided to top up with more boiling water but poured it on my leg instead. 6in by 6in area of second degree burns! Yay! No trip to hospital necessary. Just letting it breath.

Rocket Bowl Thursday News Flash
=========================

A bit chilly at work, wearing my jumper. If only I had a fleece.

Egg mayo sandwiches and a satsuma for lunch. Just had a vietnamese coconut sweet and a cuppa.

The boiler repair man is coming later for the second time in a week. Will have to leave work a little early to meet him. It's his fault I injured myself!

If anyone can come up with a better religious text please feel free. That was the best I could do....it's a little weak.

Put some aloe vera gel on it. We carry this stuff on our fire engine's, it great, takes the heat out of the burn.

I made a salad for lunch, but put too much dressing on so it just tasted like vinegar. Binned it and had a ham sandwich.

Ham sandwich and a nanabar for me. But I then buckled and hit the Prawn Cocktail Skips. Old school.

What's a nanabar?

What kind of ham was it, Joe. Smoked, honey roasted, teddy bear?

Good choice there, bananas are great. Except when a tropical spider jumps out of one...

Me either, I sort of force myself to eat them at dinner because I'm not a huge fruit fan (so when else would I get the fruit portion of my 5 a day) and to deal with the hole that would otherwise be filled by crisps.

Suse is cooking a curry tonight - not sure what kind yet. Big win! Then I'll pack my fleece for the weekend...
