Inducing the Halfling Master Chief (Chief\{i})

Post by Demagoge »

Hi everybody,

I´m pretty sure, that I heard, that Halflings can induce the Master Chief for 50k. But in the BBCRP (p. 69) I only find the option to induce it for 100k.

What is true now?

Thanks for your help.

It's 100k. I think some tournaments have dropped the price. I also think it was proposed to drop the price in the rules, but they decided against it.

Halflings could take a Master Chef for 50k in the previous ruleset. It is now 100k, balanced out by their Treemen not having Loner.

Some Leagues and Tournies do house rule it back down to 50k, which is lovely, but a little overpowered (if Flings can actually be overpowered, of course).

Master Chief? Isn't that something to do with Halo?

Halfling Master Chief? That's not good for anyone...

Hey! Referee! Illegal use of weapons!

(In seriousness, Ulthuan_Express nailed it)

I sense a new halfling star player in the near future... I wonder what his rules would be like.

Ok, Ok. Sometimes a single "i" makes the difference.

If there is more than one chief, there is probably a master chief who adjudicates disagreements between them. I've seen halflings before, and the ones I've seen had chiefs. I know there have to be more halflings out there, and they probably have chiefs too.

There, I've done it. I've induced the halfling master chief. I have no idea how much gold a degree in philosophy is worth, but it's not 300,000 gold crowns, whatever that's worth (it sounds like a #@¢‡!%& mondo load of pesos), so I'll offer you a 66.7% discount, just for being a halfling! Thank you for convincing me that my father's concerns over my major were not justified: I'm totally in the right biz!
