Because pushing you opens up assists on your mate and not pushing you leaves you free to assist and counterblock on your own turn, and because the SPP system and the block/AV/injury rules render holding your ground broadly more important than keeping your players safe. It is nice to have a Wrend Lina and a DP Lina on hand to hold down the PO/Frenzy guy, but the key to keeping your Guard Blitzer clean is to put her in places where she's able to assist, not subject to easy blocks and not worth the hazard in blitzing. Stand Firm is important in all three.Greyhound wrote:Noob question but why not Fend rather than SF?Heff wrote:Blitzers 2x guard then SF then MB etc
If someone has 2 dice block on you, they are likely to have an assist who can try a second block with SF, whereas Fend might prevent it. It stops the pile on and Frenzy which amazon should hate
Bin her she is 110k of tv bloat who will be targeted for death. I accept 1-mv but anything else and your gone.arthurinkpen wrote: the blitzer is now AV6?
This. That's not at all my philosophy with most teams, but any stat loss on an Amazon is killer, and the players are all cheap. Even -1MA is a big deal except on a Blitzer. You can take -1MA, -1AG, -1AV or a niggle on your last rookie lina (you know, the one on the bench) until you have the cash to replace and still keep some savings.Heff wrote:Bin her she is 110k of tv bloat who will be targeted for death.
