3rd skill on a Chaos Marauder: "5+5"

Hello,

One of my marauders has level up. As such I am a little unsure of how to skill him.

We are playing in perpetual league.
He has Block & Dodge and my roll is 5+5

1- M+1: he is my ball carrier after all :roll:
2- Side step: to improve defense (and very nasty with guard as fourth skill)
3- Sure hand to have a reroll and counter strip Ball (but discard a 5+5, hurt me :cry: )
4- Guard: basic but interesting.
5- Other?

I have no M+1 on this team and no specific ball carrier.

Could you help me please?

AV9/Bloc/Dodge will keep him alive longer.

Buy a skaven if you need movement :P

Sidestep!

I had the same build on my Chaos Pact team and he was just awesome on both defense and offence. With Blodge+Sidestep he can patrol or advance the ball down the flanks. I went on to give him extra arms and two heads to make him into a poor man's elf. :D

I would go with +1 MA. He then covers the back field on the kick off. The other option is sure hands, safe on those team rerolls.

+MA for me as well. He'll eventually be able to do it all. Blodge gives him survival, but speed is always needed for stopping/making scores. The skaven is fairly fragile, and marauds have excellent shelf life.

Get the speed while ya can, and just count the times it made an important move possible.

After Sidestep, Tentacles or Tackle rather than Guard. Then either the other one or Two Heads at 76. Given your three big guys and universal S access, this guy will be on an island a lot, and won't get as much mileage from Guard as you might like. Once you have Stand Firm on your Troll and one of the other Big Guys, you can run an absolutely godawful half-zig that converts nicely into a Leap-proofing screen for your cage.
